Systemic Data

For the systemic circulation model, the competition data consist of one single set of synthetic, noise-free data. Read on to see full instructions (you may have to click)

For the systemic circulation model, the competition data consist of one single set of synthetic, noise-free data: flow time series from 7 blood vessels (midpoint of every vessel) and the maximum and minimum points in a pressure time series from one blood vessel (again midpoint).

The data can be downloaded from Moodle. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the file called “MoodleDataAccess” (link on the right side). The Moodle page also offers further details about the data and the competition challenge.

IMPORTANT: Upon download, participants have only 3 hours to upload their results on Moodle. After 3 hours, participants will be unable to submit an entry for this model. The download-upload process can take place anytime between 1st Sep – 8th Sep (23:59 BST).

The restriction of 3 hours reflects a typical time window within which a diagnosis or treatment decision has to be made in a clinical A&E setting.
