Pulmonary model: Competition data

For the pulmonary circulation model, the competition data consist of one single set of synthetic, noisy data: pressure time series in one blood vessel and flow time series in two other blood vessels (midpoint of every vessel).

The data can be downloaded from Moodle. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the file called “MoodleDataAccess” (link on the right side). The Moodle page also offers further details about the data and the competition challenge.

IMPORTANT: Participants need to upload their results by 8th September at 23:59 BST. Past this deadline, participants will be unable to submit their entries.

The time window of a week reflects a typical time frame within which a medical laboratory has to operate. This is not as stringent as for a clinical A&E setting, but still requires any quantitative analysis to be conducted in a timely manner.
